Our pledge

We as members, contributors, and leaders pledge to make participation in this project a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socioeconomic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, caste, colour, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

We pledge to act and interact in ways that contribute to an open, welcoming, diverse, inclusive, and healthy community.

Our standards

Examples of behaviour that contributes to a positive environment include:

  • demonstrating empathy and kindness toward other people;
  • respecting differing opinions, viewpoints, and experiences;
  • giving and gracefully accepting constructive feedback;
  • accepting responsibility, apologising to those affected by mistakes, and learning from the experience; and
  • focusing on what is best for the community and the project.

Examples of unacceptable behaviour include:

  • sexualised language or imagery, sexual attention, or advances of any kind;
  • trolling, insulting or derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks;
  • public or private harassment;
  • publishing another person's private information without explicit permission; and
  • other conduct that could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting.

Enforcement responsibilities

Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying and enforcing these standards. They may remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, issues, and other contributions that do not align with this Code of Conduct, and will communicate moderation decisions when appropriate.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies within all project spaces and whenever an individual is officially representing the project in public spaces.

Enforcement

Report abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behaviour privately using the contact method listed on the maintainer's GitHub profile. Do not publish sensitive conduct reports in a public issue. Platform-level abuse may also be reported directly to GitHub Support.

Maintainers will respect the reporter's privacy and review reports promptly and fairly. Anyone involved in a report must recuse themselves from handling it. Enforcement will consider the context, severity, and impact of the behaviour.

Enforcement guidelines

Maintainers will use these guidelines when determining consequences:

1. Correction

Community impact: Inappropriate language or other behaviour considered unprofessional or unwelcome.

Consequence: A private written warning explaining the violation and requesting a public apology when appropriate.

2. Warning
